Alessandro Amadio, CAIA, joined SIGLO in 2014 and has been chief operating officer (COO) and a partner since 2016. He started his career in 1999 as a trainee at UBS AG in Basel and later served as a junior portfolio manager in private banking for Swiss clients. From 2005, he spent a year at Atradius Credit Insurance NV in Amsterdam in the capacity of investment administrator in the corporate finance division. In 2006, he joined Harcourt Investment Consulting AG in Zurich as a product manager in the operations division and led a team of six as the head of product management from 2009 to 2011. In 2011 he transferred to the risk management division in the capacity of a risk and ODD analyst. In this function, and as a member of Harcourt’s investment committee, he was in responsible for performing risk and operational due diligence and the monitoring of single hedge funds and fund of hedge funds. Alessandro holds a BBA in finance from the University of Applied Sciences of Basel, is a CAIA Charterholder since 2011 and speaks German, English, Dutch and Italian.
