Dr. Christoph Gort is a founding partner of SIGLO, a member of management and the board of directors and a portfolio manager in the private debt and alternative credit (PD) division. He began his career in 2003 at the City of Zurich Pension Fund. As a member of the investment team, he oversaw investments in foreign currencies, commodities, hedge funds and active equity strategies, among others. In 2008, he joined Harcourt Investment Consulting AG as a fund of hedge funds analyst, where he became head of fund of funds research in 2010. In this role, Christoph advised Swiss pension funds and private banks on fund of hedge funds investments. After studying economics in Bern, he completed his doctorate with a specialisation in behavioural finance at the University of Zurich in 2007. He has published academic papers, articles and presentations in the areas of overconfidence, active management, alternative investments and pension funds. Christoph is fluent in German, English and French.
