Linda Loetscher, CAIA, FRM, joined SIGLO in 2017 as an analyst and has been chief risk officer (CRO) and a partner since 2020. She began her career in 2007 at Harcourt Investment Consulting AG in Zurich as a risk manager within the areas of fund of hedge funds and long-only commodities, and in 2012 transitioned into the investment control division of Bank Vontobel AG. After her return to academics as a full-time student for a couple of years in order to complete an MSc, she joined Mirai Solutions in 2014 as a solutions consultant, developing risk modelling applications and data analytics-based workflows within the Swiss insurance industry. As of 2016, she covered a range of business areas related to alternative investments (hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, energy infrastructure and insurance-linked strategies) as well as more traditional investment management, in her role within the fiduciary risk management team of Credit Suisse AG. Linda holds an MSc in statistics from the ETH Zürich, is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a CAIA Charterholder, and is fluent in English and German.
