Michael Dill
Michael Dill joined SIGLO in 2016 as portfolio manager and has been a partner since 2018. He heads the centre of competence for selected hedge fund strategies such as SIGLO’s drawdown management solutions (DM). By DM we mean active investment strategies with low correlation to traditional investments such as CTAs, global macro and long volatility. Previously, he was a senior hedge fund analyst at Vontobel Asset Management for around five years, where he was responsible for the selection and monitoring of global macro as well as fixed income strategies and was a member of the investment committee. Michael began his career in 2005 at Credit Suisse AM in the FoHF department, where he worked based in Zurich and London from 2007 in the role of hedge fund analyst with a focus on fixed income relative value, structured credit and global macro strategies and from 2010 managed a FoHF mandate focused on alternative fixed income strategies for a UK pension fund. Michael holds an MSc in business and economics from the University of Basel with a major in finance, controlling and banking. He is fluent in German and English.
